Another petal pink polish for my collection? Don't mind if I do! Fuchsia Glamour has been begging to join my collection since I read about it. I picked it up at Rite-Aid this past weekend along with some other polishes I've been stalking the drugstores for.

Fuchsia Glamour is a seriously gorgeous polish. A warm, sheer, petal pink with gold shimmer and a super-fine pink shimmer that's playing hide and seek in my photos. (I swear it's there!) Oh, and don't let the name of this polish fool you... No fuchsia here... practically the farthest thing from a bright pink!

Polishes Used:

1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler
4 Coats NYC Fuchsia Glamour
1 Coat OPI Top Coat
1 Coat Seche Vite

I don't normally buy NYC polishes, and I honestly haven't used one in a long time. The formula on this was great and applied easily. I probably could've stopped at 3 coats, but I did an extra just to be sure I had even coverage. Sheer polishes make me go overboard on the coats. Always have, probably always will!

Even though I have a lot of other petal pinks in my collection, Fuchsia Glamour is definitely unique. It's like the long-lost pink cousin of Sinful Colors Cinderella. Or a slightly more sparkly and opaque version of Essie Vanity Fairest with an extra handful of shimmer thrown in. Even Sinful Colors Glass Pink has a different shimmer scheme altogether! If you don't own it... You definitely have to pick it up. (It's extremely wallet-friendly at 99 cents per bottle!)

What do you think of NYC polishes?

SinfulColors Mauve On Seriotype

Whether you call it a seriotype or smooshy... (I prefer seriotype) there is just something about this style of manicure that I can't get enough of.

Hey there! It's been a little while, hasn't it? Sorry about that. Life happens, you know? Oddly enough, I didn't stop painting my nails during my hiatus. I kept taking pictures for a while, and then that just sort of stopped to. Weird how some habits die hard, while others don't change a bit.
Anyhoo... I found pictures of this mani in my files and couldn't believe I didn't share it! This was one of my favorite polishes last spring, and I recreated this exact seriotype/ a few times.
This mani started out with 3 fresh coats of Mauve On. I typically wrap my tips on the 2nd coat and add a 3rd for balance. Next, I ad…

I'm never one to pass up a pink polish and if the name of this doesn't say it all, the color definitely does! This is quite possibly the most perfect shade of light pink I've come across. And you all know how I love the color pink! <3

In case you missed my review of First Kiss, daniPro polishes were created by Manhattan Podiatrist Dr. Gary Evans. The formula is 5-free and the polishes are recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association to promote good foot health.

Forever Pink is more of a crelly polish, so I had to use 5 coats to build up to the opacity you see in the pictures. Because of the sheer formula, it was a little patchy until about the 4th coat. But once this polish is opaque, it's a really gorgeous shade of pink and the crelly finish really made it shine. I've been into lighter shades on my toes lately…

Zoya Free4You Promotion

It's Zoya promotion time again! This is one sale that I just have to jump on every year. Usually, it's because I try to do a no-buy around the Holidays and I'm just itching to buy all of the polish. I didn't really set out specifically to do that in 2015, but that's how it ended up. So I was pretty excited to get the email about Zoya's one week only Free4You sale!

The premise of the sale is simple, choose 4 Zoya shades, (excluding pre-packaged sets, Naked Manicure, Zoya Treatments, and the Spring 2016 Whispers Collection) enter 4YOU at checkout, and pay just $15 promotional shipping. That's the equivalent of $3.75/bottle with free shipping. Zoya polishes normally retail for $9-$10/bottle, so this is a pretty sweet promotion!

Now I know you're wondering... what shades did I pick out? I thought you'd never ask! I swear, I didn't set out to only order purple and blue polishes. And I know that exactly none of these were on my Lemmings list! That see…
