1 Coat OPI Clear Coat
1 Coat Seche Vite

I don't own very many textured nail polishes. The ones I do own tend to fall in the same category as Too Dimensional... total glitterbombs! It's a part of L'Oreal's Colour Riche Gold Dust collection that came out a bit before the Holidays. I thought about purchasing a couple of these shades, but so far, this has been the only one I've added to my collection!

Too Dimensional has an indigo base that is packed with small blue and silver hex glitter, plus some superfine green-gold shimmer. There's a lot of sparkle to this one! When sunlight hits it, it radiates glimmer... I honestly don't think it has a bad side. It photographed really well, and I may or may not have gone a little overboard with taking pictures!

Application was good. The polish didn't build up too badly on the brush like some texture polishes tend to do. I probably could've gotten away with just two coats, but I painted on a third to be sure I didn't have bare spots. It's hard for me to tell if I've covered everything when it comes to textured polishes... O.o

The next time I wear this, I definitely want to paint a layer or two of jelly polish over this and change the color around. Or maybe it's time for a slightly gritty jelly glitter sandwich? (Totally to-do listed!)

Do you own any of the L'Oreal Colour Riche Gold Dust polishes?

SinfulColors Mauve On Seriotype

Whether you call it a seriotype or smooshy... (I prefer seriotype) there is just something about this style of manicure that I can't get enough of.  Polishes Used:  1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Out Ridge Filler 3 Coats SinfulColors Mauve On Essie Leggy Legend Pahlish Autumn People Pure Ice Get in Line 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite Hey there! It's been a little while, hasn't it? Sorry about that. Life happens, you know? Oddly enough, I didn't stop painting my nails during my hiatus. I kept taking pictures for a while, and then that just sort of stopped to. Weird how some habits die hard, while others don't change a bit.  Anyhoo... I found pictures of this mani in my files and couldn't believe I didn't share it! This was one of my favorite polishes last spring, and I recreated this exact seriotype/ a few times.  This mani started out with 3 fresh coats of Mauve On. I typically wrap my tips on the 2nd c

Fishbowl Friday 073 // Recreation

Every now and then, I enjoy looking back over past manicures. Creatively, it's just neat to see how far I've come since the days I started. Oddly enough, when I chose this prompt, I knew exactly which manicure I wanted to recreate. Based loosely on Fishbowl Friday 027 , today's seriotype nails are a RECREATION ...  Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 3 Coats China Glaze Violet Vibes Essie Leggy Legend Pahlish Autumn People Pure Ice Get in Line SinfulShine Konstellation 2 Coats SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite Looking back, I can honestly say that my seriotype game has come far since I first learned the method. One of the things that took me a while to master was the balance of nail polish finishes. While seriotypes made exclusively with creme polishes look cool, those made with a combination of different finishes really pop. There's more depth involved when you layer a metallic over a jelly neon and

12 MoC: Merry Marsala

Since the announcement of Pantone's Color of the Year 2015, I've been on the hunt for Marsala in polish form. You might think this would be a simple task, but it's actually been quite difficult, and I'm still not 100% there. But this polish is thee best match (and deal) I've found so far. I give you Haze of Love... Polishes Used: 1 Coat Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler 4 Coats Wet N Wild Haze of Love 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite   Marsala is an earthy red with an almost equal blend of red and brown. It's a super versatile shade, and depending on what you pair it with, it can lean towards either color. It's a rich shade, but not overly dark, and a little dusty. In all honesty, Haze of Love is a decent enough match, but it could still stand to be muted down a little bit. It's just the slightest bit too dark, now that I look at the graphics and my nail photos so closely together. But how many people are going to put
