I don't remember where I first saw SinfulColors Fig... but the moment I saw it blogged, it was added to my wishlist. So, when PR contacted me about choosing shades from the new collection? I was thrilled to see that Fig was being brought back for the All Nighter Collection!

Out of all the shades that I requested, Fig is by far the most Fall of the bunch. Not gonna lie, it was a little weird to paint such a deep, vampy shade on my nails when it's not even August! But the more I wear it, the more I don't really want to take it off. I'm by no means ready for cooler weather anytime soon. But Fall colors? I think I might be transitioning!

So... why is Fig so special? It's a really warm and bright purple berry. There's a super fine pink shimmer that runs through it that gives it a warm, shiny glow. Application was great, too. Three easy coats for me, but for some, I could see this being a two-coater!

Fig is part of SinfulColors Class Act All Nighter Collection. You can find it on display at Walgreens and other mass retailers for $1.99 a bottle. The full All Nighter Collection also contains Blue Sensation, Casablanca, Daredevil, Glass Pink, Ice Dream, Late Night Haute, Night Owl, Purple Diamond, and Sinful Sunrise. I'm never one to pass up a pink polish and if the name of this doesn't say it all, the color definitely does! This is quite possibly the most perfect shade of light pink I've come across. And you all know how I love the color pink! <3

In case you missed my review of First Kiss, daniPro polishes were created by Manhattan Podiatrist Dr. Gary Evans. The formula is 5-free and the polishes are recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association to promote good foot health.

Forever Pink is more of a crelly polish, so I had to use 5 coats to build up to the opacity you see in the pictures. Because of the sheer formula, it was a little patchy until about the 4th coat. But once this polish is opaque, it's a really gorgeous shade of pink and the crelly finish really made it shine. I've been into lighter shades on my toes lately…

SinfulColors Mauve On Seriotype

Whether you call it a seriotype or smooshy... (I prefer seriotype) there is just something about this style of manicure that I can't get enough of.

Hey there! It's been a little while, hasn't it? Sorry about that. Life happens, you know? Oddly enough, I didn't stop painting my nails during my hiatus. I kept taking pictures for a while, and then that just sort of stopped to. Weird how some habits die hard, while others don't change a bit.
Anyhoo... I found pictures of this mani in my files and couldn't believe I didn't share it! This was one of my favorite polishes last spring, and I recreated this exact seriotype/ a few times.
This mani started out with 3 fresh coats of Mauve On. I typically wrap my tips on the 2nd coat and add a 3rd for balance. Next, I ad…

Fishbowl Friday 073 // Recreation

Every now and then, I enjoy looking back over past manicures. Creatively, it's just neat to see how far I've come since the days I started. Oddly enough, when I chose this prompt, I knew exactly which manicure I wanted to recreate. Based loosely on Fishbowl Friday 027, today's seriotype nails are a RECREATION...

Looking back, I can honestly say that my seriotype game has come far since I first learned the method. One of the things that took me a while to master was the balance of nail polish finishes. While seriotypes made exclusively with creme polishes look cool, those made with a combination of different finishes really pop. There's more depth involved when you layer a metallic over a jelly neon and then add in some shimmer and glitter.
