Last weekend, I fiiiiinally managed to get a Walgreens/Target run in. Even Peanut was super happy to get back to our shopping, juice, then popcorn and a smoothie while shopping date! Aaaand she may or may not call Target the smoothie store...

While I didn't find any new nail polish at Target, I did find a whooooole lot at Wags. I had no idea that SinfulColors had a neon collection coming, so I did a little bit of a double take when I saw the display! Neon and On, Bright B4 Your Eyes, and Bright to the Point jumped right into my cart. While I was loading up on those, the girl at the makeup counter found 3 of the 5 Wet n Wild California Dreaming polishes. She also found Sky Teal and a couple of the other Street Fusion shades from SinfulColors that I've been trying to hunt down. The drugstores in my area are going through a serious drought. I've yet to see a Street Fusion display in either Rite Aid, and KMart has just been putting the new polishes on the old displays!

But back to Pink of Me... It's a pretty and bright mid-toned pink creme that I spotted at Walgreens but hadn't picked up yet. You know how that one goes. Straight into the cart!

It's not a unique shade by any means, but it was definitely a necessary addition to the stash. I like how it's bright without being neon, yet still soft without being pastel. It's a great all-year-round pink! Application was great too. Same awesome formula that I've come to know and love!

I did forget to mention that this is the 2nd day for this polish, and it's held up really well. My photos are from today, the 2nd day of wear, so they're still NOTD! Pretty sure that this is going to come off tonight, but I'm not sure how I want to paint my nails tonight... I do know that my toenails are in need of some serious love and care, but thankfully, I already know what color they're going to end up. Any suggestions?!?

SinfulColors Mauve On Seriotype

Whether you call it a seriotype or smooshy... (I prefer seriotype) there is just something about this style of manicure that I can't get enough of.  Polishes Used:  1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Out Ridge Filler 3 Coats SinfulColors Mauve On Essie Leggy Legend Pahlish Autumn People Pure Ice Get in Line 1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite Hey there! It's been a little while, hasn't it? Sorry about that. Life happens, you know? Oddly enough, I didn't stop painting my nails during my hiatus. I kept taking pictures for a while, and then that just sort of stopped to. Weird how some habits die hard, while others don't change a bit.  Anyhoo... I found pictures of this mani in my files and couldn't believe I didn't share it! This was one of my favorite polishes last spring, and I recreated this exact seriotype/ a few times.  This mani started out with 3 fresh coats of Mauve On. I typically wrap my tips on the 2nd c

Fishbowl Friday 073 // Recreation

Every now and then, I enjoy looking back over past manicures. Creatively, it's just neat to see how far I've come since the days I started. Oddly enough, when I chose this prompt, I knew exactly which manicure I wanted to recreate. Based loosely on Fishbowl Friday 027 , today's seriotype nails are a RECREATION ...  Polishes Used: 1 Coat Fingerpaints Smooth Over Ridge Filler 3 Coats China Glaze Violet Vibes Essie Leggy Legend Pahlish Autumn People Pure Ice Get in Line SinfulShine Konstellation 2 Coats SinfulColors Clear Coat 1 Coat Seche Vite Looking back, I can honestly say that my seriotype game has come far since I first learned the method. One of the things that took me a while to master was the balance of nail polish finishes. While seriotypes made exclusively with creme polishes look cool, those made with a combination of different finishes really pop. There's more depth involved when you layer a metallic over a jelly neon and

This is quite possibly the most perfect shade of light pink I've come across. And you all know how I love the color pink! <3 In case you missed my review of First Kiss , daniPro polishes were created by Manhattan Podiatrist Dr. Gary Evans. The formula is 5-free and the polishes are recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association to promote good foot health. Forever Pink is more of a crelly polish, so I had to use 5 coats to build up to the opacity you see in the pictures. Because of the sheer formula, it was a little patchy until about the 4th coat. But once this polish is opaque, it's a really gorgeous shade of pink and the crelly finish really made it shine. I've been into lighter sha
