3 Coats Color Club Eternal Beauty
1 Coat SinfulColors Clear Coat

Here's another holographic beauty from the Original Halo Hues Collection from Color Club. This is the purple of the bunch, a nice mid-toned orchidy/violet shade. Add holo sparkle and just like Beyond... total rainbow explosion on your nails!

I am seriously not kidding when I say that I love this formula and the brush. That combination makes for seriously flawless application. I used three easy coats to get the look you see in the swatches, but most people would only need two.

You know, as I'm looking at these swatches, there's something really magical about rainbows and the color purple! I'm really curious what The Uptown, also by Color Club, would look layered over Eternal Beauty. It's a purple jelly that's loaded with flakies that shift through the rainbow. I mean, some people might think it's overkill, but I think these two polishes might look ah-mazing layered together!

As much as I would like to try that layering out... tomorrow is Fishbowl Friday and I haven't pulled my prompt yet. I can't wait to see what No. 51 will be. That's the great thing about the randomness of Fishbowl Friday... anything can happen!

  2. If all goes well, I'm hoping to give it a try this weekend. I'm currently debating whether or not I should add Fantasy Fire...

SinfulColors Mauve On Seriotype

Whether you call it a seriotype or smooshy... (I prefer seriotype) there is just something about this style of manicure that I can't get enough of.

Hey there! It's been a little while, hasn't it? Sorry about that. Life happens, you know? Oddly enough, I didn't stop painting my nails during my hiatus. I kept taking pictures for a while, and then that just sort of stopped to. Weird how some habits die hard, while others don't change a bit.
Anyhoo... I found pictures of this mani in my files and couldn't believe I didn't share it! This was one of my favorite polishes last spring, and I recreated this exact seriotype/ a few times.
This mani started out with 3 fresh coats of Mauve On. I typically wrap my tips on the 2nd coat and add a 3rd for balance. Next, I ad…

daniPro Forever Girl

5 Coats daniPro Forever Girl*
1 Coat daniPro Clear Top Cover*
1 Coat Seche Vite

I'm never one to pass up a pink polish and if the name of this doesn't say it all, the color definitely does! This is quite possibly the most perfect shade of light pink I've come across. And you all know how I love the color pink! <3

In case you missed my review of First Kiss, daniPro polishes were created by Manhattan Podiatrist Dr. Gary Evans. The formula is 5-free and the polishes are recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association to promote good foot health.

Forever Pink is more of a crelly polish, so I had to use 5 coats to build up to the opacity you see in the pictures. Because of the sheer formula, it was a little patchy until about the 4th coat. But once this polish is opaque, it's a really gorgeous shade of pink and the crelly finish really made it shine. I've been into lighter shades on my toes lately…

Zoya Free4You Promotion

It's Zoya promotion time again! This is one sale that I just have to jump on every year. Usually, it's because I try to do a no-buy around the Holidays and I'm just itching to buy all of the polish. I didn't really set out specifically to do that in 2015, but that's how it ended up. So I was pretty excited to get the email about Zoya's one week only Free4You sale!

The premise of the sale is simple, choose 4 Zoya shades, (excluding pre-packaged sets, Naked Manicure, Zoya Treatments, and the Spring 2016 Whispers Collection) enter 4YOU at checkout, and pay just $15 promotional shipping. That's the equivalent of $3.75/bottle with free shipping. Zoya polishes normally retail for $9-$10/bottle, so this is a pretty sweet promotion!

Now I know you're wondering... what shades did I pick out? I thought you'd never ask! I swear, I didn't set out to only order purple and blue polishes. And I know that exactly none of these were on my Lemmings list! That see…
